Howard W. Hunter

Howard W. Hunter served in the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for 35 years. Toward the end of his life, he was called to be President of the Church, and thus sustained as the Church's Prophet, Seer, and Revelator. He served in this capacity for nine months, before succumbing to cancer in 1995 at the age of 87. President Hunter gave some beautiful and inspiring talks, testified lovingly of the Savior and called each of us to live as the Savior would have us live. President Hunter's personal example of humility and love served as a model for each of us.

Here are some links to some of my favorite talks:

What Manner of Men Ought Ye To Be (April 1994)

Jesus, the Very Thought of Thee (April 1993) (includes a youtube video of the talk)

A More Excellent Way (April 1992)
